Welcome back!

In these last, warm days of August, educators are turning their thoughts and efforts into setting up for the new school year. We are excited to welcome all returning and new students back to Bastion for the upcoming 2025-26 school year!

For new students who have not previously registered, our school district’s registration day is on Tuesday August 26, from 9:00-2:00pm. To expedite the process, if you can print and fill out ahead of time our current registration form and documents checklist- it will allow us to process the application right away.

School begins on Wednesday Sept. 3 for all grade 1-5 students. It is a short day, beginning at 8:13am and ending at 11:13am. I will be sure to send a communication to all registered students late next week with other details of how the first week will unfold. Kindergarten students begin on Thursday Sept. 4 for an abbreviated time as they work through the gradual entry process (as communicated at end of June).

For any of our new students in Grades 1-5, please come to the front office on Wednesday Sept. 3. We will bring you to your classroom that first time so that you can know where you’ll be to start.

Our office is now open for the year, from the hours of 7:30-2:30pm. After hours feel free to leave a message or send an email to our school mailbox
