After a three-year absence, we’re happy to once again have a Bastion Spring Carnival!! The last time we had a Spring Carnival, our Grade 5 students were in Grade 1 and the Grade 4 students were in Kindergarten!
The Spring Carnival will take place on Friday, May 26th, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. This year the carnival is being run as a school event and not a fundraiser. The games are all free (no bracelets and tickets required). There will be a variety of games set-up throughout the school and outdoors. Some of the games/activities include: Hockey Shoot, Basketball Shoot, Bingo, Lollipop Tree, Nose Picker, Fishpond, Golf Putt, Plinko, Cupcake Walk, and more! When playing games, prize tickets can be won, and the tickets can be used to enter draws for fun prizes.
A bouncy house will be set-up in the gym and a Silent Auction will be in the music room.
Each class is creating a raffle basket, with a specific theme. Please be sure to send your donations of items to the classroom teacher, as soon as possible. The Cupcake Walk requires lots of delicious cupcakes to be donated for prizes. If you are able to donate cupcakes, please deliver them to the school on May 26th, by 2:30 pm. Thank you!!
