The Bastion Bobcats had a special surprise today!! Twelve players from the Salmon Arm Silverbacks visited the school to play some floor hockey and participate in classroom activities. Through a random draw, grade-level teams were made and we had six mini-games against the Silverbacks. In the end… the Bobcats tied with the Silverbacks!!
After the games of floor hockey, the Silverback visited a few of our classrooms. The players engaged in participating in PE classes, reading with the students or playing Math games. Some of the Silverbacks even had a tea party with some of the Kindergartens!!

Due to the amazing support of community sponsorship, all children under the age of fifteen are able to attend all Salmon Arm Silverbacks home games for free!!
